LE — Andres Sanguino scored a game-high 14 points as the Vikings from Umatilla defeated the Vikings from Vale 56-35 on Saturday.

With the win Umatilla (17-1, 4-0 EOL) remains the only undefeated team in EOL play. Vale (14-2, 3-1 EOL) was also undefeated going into Saturday’s matchup, but couldn’t hold off a fourth-quarter 22-point offensive surge by Umatilla.

Umatilla played shutdown defense allowing Vale only 12 points in the second half with only four points in the fourth quarter.Jorge Campos added 13 points, with Forrest McBride chipping in with nine.
