UMATILLA — The Umatilla Vikings punched their ticket to the Class 3A final state bracket in Coos Bay next week by pummeling Horizon Christian 60-33 in girls’ playoff basketball on Saturday in The Pit.
Umatilla coach Scott Bow said his team put on its best performance of the season.
Madeleine Clark led Horizon Christian with 11 points.
Umatilla’s first-round opponent at the state tournament will be Clatskanie. They’ll play at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
